In 2005, we hiked across all villages starting in Monterossa and working our way to Riomaggiore. We swam in the sea, dined at the finest restaurants and took a small boat around to local hot springs.

It is easy to get to by train or by boat and is not your typical Italian destination.

Belize is a small country nestled between Mexico and Guatemala in Central America. If you like the beach, you'll be pleased to know that Belize is blessed with over 180 miles of gorgeous Caribbean coastline.

Take in the beauty of the underwater world snorkeling and diving in the Belize Barrier Reef, part of the second-largest barrier reef in the world. For nature lovers, you'll want to know that more than a third of Belize is a protected nature reserve or national park.
